Jefferson County Beekeepers’ Association
To Support Bees and their Keepers
About
The Jefferson County Beekeepers’ Association was established in 1979 in Birmingham, Alabama to support the local beekeeping community. An established 501c3, the club encourages beekeeping and apiculture related activities and provides educational opportunities for members and the public.
Our membership numbers over 200 beekeepers from our local community and our membership increases every year. Our monthly meetings are open to both members and the public and serve as our main outreach for the community and source of educational opportunities.
To become a part of our membership, please join our club by simply paying member dues.
If you would like to be more involved with the Jefferson County Beekeepers’ Association, please come to our monthly meetings and follow us on Facebook. In both of those places you can learn more about bees and the beekeeping community.
Our club is run by volunteers who work hard to make our club happen.
